National League: Club Watch
Even though we had a break in the season at the weekend, our clubs continued to be busy off the field so let’s take a look at what some of our National League sides have been talking about and publicising over the last seven days…

Darlington Mowden Park
Darlington Mowden Park have announced that the public can book out the Northern Echo Arena for their Christmas Parties across dates in December. The club hope that the venue will get people into the festive spirit ahead of the holidays this year.

Like the world did on Sunday, Huddersfield remembered former players who gave their lives across the two World Wars. The club posted an image on their Twitter to remember 17 of their players who gave their lives in the first half of the last century.

Bury St Edmunds
Much like Cambridge RUFC, Bury St Edmunds were congratulating their former player, Ehren Painter, on signing his first senior contract at Northampton Saints. The 20-year-old had enjoyed an impressive start to the season, clearly catching the eye of Director of Rugby Chris Boyd.

Canterbury RFC
Canterbury fly-half Ollie Best is raising money for mental health charity, Noggin, through taking orders for Canterbury branded beanies. At £10 a hat, all proceeds will go to charity and there are already 150 people signed up!
Taunton Rugby Club
Similarly to Bury St Edmunds, Taunton had a former player of their own to celebrate. On this occasion it was Sam Skinner who had a man of the match performance for Scotland on his debut. Hailing from Torquay, Skinner played for Taunton whilst also at Exeter University before Exeter picked him up.
