National League Rugby is pleased to announce our partnership with Troo Ltd, who will become the league’s preferred energy consultant.

Troo delivers a nationwide service and is committed to reducing energy consumption, carbon emissions and costs through its various services. The intention of the partnership is for NLR Clubs, their sponsors and business contacts to benefit from Troo’s experience, best advice, account management and competitive solutions; a one-stop-shop for utilities.

Troo’s services include Energy & Water Procurement, ESOS 3 support, Renewable Energies, Battery Storage, LED Lighting and Electric Vehicle Charging solutions.

Troo has helped many clubs from all sports achieve energy savings and stadium efficiencies whilst also introducing new income through a partnership with the clubs. They have also organised B2B networking events resulting in additional sponsorships taken. This way, there is a direct and indirect benefit to clubs and their sponsors.

Mark Boyce, Troo Partnership Manager said: “We engage with all clubs through a consultative approach so they can benefit from our competitive services and advice. We are committed to not only reducing a club’s costs and becoming greener but also helping them generate additional income and new business opportunities.  We hope all clubs will become valued partners.”

For National League Rugby, this is a great opportunity for our Clubs. We have found a company which can assist in saving energy, improving stadium services efficiencies and reducing costs to financially benefit our Clubs. Troo Ltd can also help increase revenues through introductions and networking events to further embed Clubs in their communities, so this is a positive partnership for all to benefit from.
