Despite the eternal optimism of the preview on Friday, there were in fact four NCA fixtures postponed over the weekend. In National 1, Cinderford’s trip to Bishops Stortford was called off, in the North, Sheffield Tigers called off their game with Tynedale and in the South, Esher and Leicester Lions postponed their home games against Worthing and Sutton & Epsom. A fallow week in the NCA Rugby calendar, used to catch-up on fixtures effected by weather, seven games across National 1 and National 2 will take place on Saturday to bring everyone back to speed before the final stretch of fixtures this Spring.
